Keystone PCA Holiday Party

While the calendar may still report that it is FALL 2016, it is actually time to finalize arrangements for the annual Keystone PCA Holiday Party and Charity donation of $1000 to Centre County Youth Services. As has been our tradition over past years, our Holiday Party will occur after the New Year Rush.

This year the Party will be located at the Mountain View Country Club (previously the State College Elks Country Club). The Board selected the new location to provide added space, added parking, and a greater menu selection. The doors will open for cocktails and conversation at 6:00 pm, with dinner service beginning at 7:00 pm. The Mountain View Country Club's address:

100 Elks Club Road, Boalsburg, PA 16827

Driving instructions for members outside of the State College area: From the Southeast (i.e. Lewistown) follow 322/22 West. After passing Potters Mills you will approach Boalsburg, turn right onto Elks Club Road just prior to entering Boalsburg. From the Northeast (i.e. Williamsport) follow 220 South and then continue on I-99 South for 11 miles. Take exit 73 to merge onto US 322 East toward State College. Continue 6.5 miles to Elks Club Road. Turn left onto Elks Club Road. From the West (i.e. Altoona) follow 220/I-99 North past Port Matilda and exit onto Business Route 322/North Atherton Street. Continue on Atherton Street into Boalsburg. Turn left onto Elks Club Road.

The Board believes that you will be pleased with the new location and services offered. Mountain View has agreed to an open buffet service for our group; this will mean multiple selections to include three main entrees of Baked Cod, Turkey Breast, and carved Prime Rib (with all the trimmings) along with the opportunity to serve yourself at a pace that you find comfortable.

In addition, our agreement with Mountain View will include a one hour "open bar" from 6:00 - 7:00, accompanied by some passed Hors D'oeuvres even including a glass of wine with dinner. Finally, we will have a much larger area, providing room for the reception, dinner, desert, and the post dinner meeting. And the best news is that - the price for the evening will continue at our traditional $25.00 per person.

One final added benefit offered to our membership: the State College Ramada Inn owns the Mountain View Club and has agreed to provide hotel rooms for out of town members at a special discount rate ($55.00 per night). If you want to take advantage of this offer, please call the Ramada and identify yourself as a Keystone PCA member (group code: Keystone PCA CG28PO) and you will automatically get the preferred rate. Please don't wait - reservations for the dinner/party are now being accepted.

Please send your RSVP, including a list of all attendees in your group (and $25/person prepayment check) to: Richard Meyer, 141 Scarlet Oak Circle, State College, Pa 16803

If you have questions or need added information, you may contact Dick by calling 814-862-9909 or emailing: dandnmeyer141@comcast.net
